Nadew currently resides in Quispamsis with wife (Geneviève) and two children (Noah & Gabrielle). He currently works at Bell Aliant and has lived in the greater Saint John area for the past 17 years.
Nadew, a native of Moncton, NB played Major Midget AAA hockey for Moncton, NCAA Division 1 with Yale University and Professional Hockey in France. When he returned to Saint John for work, he played senior hockey locally for the AQ Thundercats.
He firmly believes that players develop through a strong will to work and a desire to learn and can be heard saying that kids "Learn to work hard, work hard to learn". Nadew believes the core beliefs and philosophy of the Express Program certainly match this quote and are key ingredients for life in general.
Work ethic and the ability to listen and learn are qualities that are essential to becoming a good hockey player but they also transcend hockey. Watching kids develop these qualities while playing a game they love is very rewarding as a father and coach.
